CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstract Submission can be for Conference Themes or Sessional Workshops

Deadline for Abstract Submission: 18 March 2012 (extended to 26 March due to numerous demands)

Authors Notifications: 31 May 2012 (plus second-round review, if required)

Submissions should be based on one (or more) of the conference themes or sessional Workshops. Contributors are asked to submit abstracts rather than full papers. Submitted abstracts will be selected for inclusion in VPH 2012 by the VPH 2012 Programme Committee for:

• Inclusion as an oral presentation and Invitation to submit a full paper for possible inclusion in a focussed journal issue
• Inclusion as an oral presentation and/or
• Inclusion as a poster or
• Not suitable for inclusion

Talks and posters will appear in electronic format on the conference web pages via the VPH NoE website.

The submission should be no more than two A4 pages of text (~1800 words) or up to three pages including diagrams, tables and references, with the extra space devoted to these and any captions. Please submit in PDF FORMAT only, please, to ensure superscripts, equations, pagination etc. appear correctly to the reviewers.

All pages should be numbered and diagrams and tables should be positioned in their proper place in relation to the text, ensuring that the total contribution does not exceed three pages. Authors invited to prepare full manuscripts for submission to the focussed journal issue will need to adhere to a further schedule for submission and review. All authors attending/presenting are required to register to the conference.
