VPH NoE Best Paper Awards at FIMH 2009 PDF | Print | E-mail

FIMH 2009 was the Fifth International Conference on Functional Imaging and Modeling of the Heart. This biennial scientific event was held from 5 - 7th June in Nice, France. The conference aimed to integrate the research and development efforts in the field of cardiovascular modeling and image analysis with the main goal being to encourage collaboration between scientists in signal and image processing, imaging, applied mathematics, biophysics, biomedical engineering and computer science, and experts in cardiology, radiology, biology and physiology.

The VPH NoE agreed to sponsor prizes to outstanding articles of the conference. The following three articles received the awards at the conference banquet in a prize giving ceremony by Nicholas Smith of euHeart.
