Advisory Boards
Boards
Three different Advisory Boards have been established in the early stages of the project to provide continued guidance to the NoE management team: the Scientific, Clinical and Industrial Advisory Boards.
Charter
During the course of the NoE, Advisory Board members will be requested to comment on issues relating to project governance, at the request of the project Steering Committee or Project Office. For example, this may include:
- making recommendations to the project Steering Committee with respect to the use/development of new knowledge or technology in a commercial setting as it is developed (Industrial Advisory Board)
- assisting with/advising on clinically-focused dissemination activities where possible (Clinical Advisory Board)
- advising on strategic issues relating to VPH research, funding, international collaboration and future directions (all)
Membership

New applications will be considered on a continuous basis and can be submitted by mail to the WP5 leader and/or to one of the coordinators/PIs listed on the contact page.
First Meeting
The VPH Network of Excellence is holding its first annual event at Université Libre de Bruxelles, ERASME Campus, on September 9-11, 2009.
On the morning of September 10th, the Scientific, Clinical and Industrial Advisory Boards will hold their first plenary meeting with the project partners, giving all participants the opportunity to share views and contribute to the way forward for the NoE. This meeting will be opened to all participants to the VPH Annual Event in order to ensure that viewpoints from all communities are represented.
Advisors are welcome and encouraged to attend both the VPH-I Day and the VPH NoE annual meeting.
