Eight Computational Postdoc positions in Computational Medicine at Karolinska Institute

The Unit for Computational Medicine (www.compmed.se), at the Department of Medicine, Solna, Karolinska Institutet, perform research in Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology in close conjunction with in-house molecular experimental work targeting immunological disease relevant processes. We are now searching for eight qualified individuals – distributed databases, Ubiquitous and Mobile Computing, Bioinformatics (3 positions) and Computational Biology (3 positions). The Unit is physically located at the Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM) (www.cmm.ki.se) that offers an outstanding research environment in the field of complex disease. The positions are for 2 years with good possibilities for extension. A significant portion of the work will be performed in collaboration with leading team in Europe and US.
The Department of Medicine consists of 14 Units including 350 employees and 160 PhD students, The Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM) gathers more than 400members performing research on the common diseases.
