The Computational Bioengineering Lab –BIC- by the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna (Italy) announces the release of the fourth selection of data belonging to the Living Human Digital Library –LHDL- multiscale musculoskeletal data collection, relative to LHDL_Donor1.
Statute of the VPH Institute open to public revision
The Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) Institute will be an European institute entirely dedicated to the Biomedical Integrative Research, whose member are all private and public institutions that are involved with VPH research and integrative biomedicine. As part of the statutory process, the draft statute of the VPH Institute, which defines among the other things its governance model, is now open for public discussion and comment within the VPH community.

The idea is to create a digital human in which research data, clinical trials information and personal data can be combined to produce better treatment and medication plans. Both projects have a long way to go.
