As part of the Cheltenham Science Festival 'Beyond Animal Research' session,  Dr Peter Kohl, VPH NoE Project Coordinator, Oxford University  was  interviewed with Dr Kelly Berube, cell biologist at Cardiff University on BBC Radio 4 today (4th June 2009) to discuss the question of whether animals should be used for tests in laboratories. Dr Kohl discusses the virtues of the use of computational models as an alternative to animal experiments.

Dr Steven Manos, (VPH NoE member), UCL will also be giving a talk tonight at the Cheltenham Science Festival. The talk will be entitled 'Virtual Physiological Human'. More details on the Festival can be found here.
