2010 Multiscale Modeling (MSM) Consortium Meeting
Dear Friends,
IMAG is very pleased to announce the 2010 Multiscale Modeling (MSM) Consortium Meeting (apologies for any cross-posting) on October 27-28, 2010 in Rockville, Maryland. A detailed draft agenda is now posted on the wiki. This will be the 4th year in which the Multiscale Modeling Consortium will meet in person. In 2009, we held the IMAG Futures Meeting in lieu of this meeting.
Many new projects will be presented along the 3 theme areas of “Bridging to Higher Scales”, “Linking Disparate Methods”, “Dealing with Uncertainty in MSM”. In addition, we will be finalizing the 5 white papers that have been in virtual discussions in the MSM this year. Finally, we will hold next steps discussions for both the MSM and for Global Efforts involving multiscale modeling (in particular the ARGOS effort).
We would like to invite you to attend the meeting in person and consider submitting a poster abstract – limited spots are still available.
