CONTRACT questionnaire - your help needed!
CONTRACT is an EU project funded within the 7th Framework Programme. The CONTRACT (CONsent in a TRial And Care EnvironmenT) project focuses on legal and ethical concepts of informed consent and their impact on the success of translational research. They analyse the concept of informed consent from a legal, ethical, IT-related and clinical point of view. Their central aim is to identify unnecessary barriers to translational research posed by the European legal framework and also to highlight best practices across Europe in dealing with issues of informed consent. The project has placed a particular focus on clinical trials involving vulnerable patients.
They are currently gathering input from high level experts dealing with consent issues. Please contribute to our research by completing the below questionnaire. Filling out the questionnaire should take less than 30 minutes and your input would provide them with a valuable source for understanding the main issues encountered in dealing with aspects of informed consent.
