LHDL metadata ontology is now public
One of the interesting results of the recently completed FP6 Living Human Digital Library (LHDL) project has been the development of ontologies with the aim to provide a coherent set of concepts to be used for the annotation of the resources stored in the digital library and to provide the information framework for the searching and retrieving of resources, and for the creation of complex workflows (i.e. traceability). The metadata management has been based on an extensible approach with a master ontology and a group of domain-specific sub-ontologies. Both the master ontology and the Functional Anatomy one have now been made public in the BiomedTown portal. For further information please click here
